We take huge pride in our warm welcome and caring service. The Bell Hotel at Charlbury is a world away from the pressures of modern life and we are only 70 minutes from London Paddington by train, and only 12 minutes from Oxford.
The Hotel is full of charm and character with open fires, delicious food and comfortable bedrooms. Following our recent refurbishment, we offer twelve bedrooms, two large function rooms and a large beautiful garden. We're also recommended in the AA pet friendly guide.
Staying at The Bell. All of our rooms are noted for their charming yet sophisticated feel. Every room has all the facilities you would expect from an AA rated hotel, yet also features free wi-fi broadband and oodles of individual charm and atmosphere. Our rooms are all non-smoking doubles with en-suite facilities and many of them can be booked as twins or family rooms (baby monitors are available). Dining at The Bell. Whether you are booking for a large party, family meal or romantic candlelight dinner we can meet your requirements. Our meals are all freshly prepared on site using only locally sourced ingredients. So whether it is a heart-warming stew in winter, fresh mussels in summer, Sunday roast or The famous Bell Club sandwich, we hope to provide something for everyone.
Functions, business meetings, celebrations, wedding receptions and parties, social and funeral gatherings. The Bell Hotel has two dedicated function facilities, The Cornbury Suite and The Bentley Room, and our newly landscaped gardens feature a terraced orchard, a stream and The Glade for special events of around 200 people.
