Burford is a popular and picturesque Cotswold town lying between Oxford and Cheltenham. The Highway Inn is at the heart of the town and has a proper Cotswold Inn feel.

Eating at The Highway Inn.  Serving excellent local produce in a simple and classic manner - our Head Chef Steve McCartney (previously, the Head Chef to Gee's in Oxford) uses the best local Cotswolds produce.  His menus pioneer great British food to give you great quality and great value. Our well-conditioned ales all come from local breweries, Hook Norton and the Cotswold Brewing Company

Private dining at The Highway Inn. We have two dining spaces to choose from, The Private Cellar Dining room is perfect for a party size of up to 20 people and The Snug dining room which is great for a smaller party of 10-12 people.
 
Accommodation at The Highway Inn. The Highway offers guests a choice of 9 bedrooms all of which are en-suite.. The design, look and furnishings in each bedroom is unique, designed to make the whole experience more like staying in a friends country house, than in a hotel or pub. Certain rooms can accommodate dogs.

Family-friendly.  A cot is available for larger doubles, or a family room with a double bed and an extra single bed, or for families with two children, we have a double and a twin in a wing on their own next door to each other.
